Schools Gardening Project 2018

School children digging

MOSELEY in BLOOM has a new initiative – to develop partnerships with local schools.

We want to encourage pupils, teachers, parents and parent-governors, to work together to create, transform and sustain ‘greening’ projects on your school sites.

We are looking to fund projects that will inspire and support pupils to develop gardening skills, and encourage them to understand their role in the quality and sustainability of their environment.

School childen carrying plant traySo, is there some unloved patch of ground that you could bring into fruit or flower? Can you make some raised beds to fill with great colours and scents? Are there corners of schoolyard where birds can bathe and butterflies can alight?

MOSELEY in BLOOM is encouraging you to imagine a project, and we want to help you bring it to life. We are inviting all PRIMARY schools with a B13 postcode to submit an application for up to £500 so that your thriving green space idea becomes a reality.
