Moseley in Bloom Open Gardens 2010

mib-og2009-08The wait is almost over, the time is nearly here.  Moseley opens its gardens again, this month – the weekend of 19th and 20th June to be precise.  This will be the fourth year of opening a range of gardens in Moseley and the past three years have been a fantastic success.

Last year we had just over 1000 visitors who came wandering through Moseley to enjoy the very different gardens, buy some plants, see the art displays, hear some music and indulge in tea and cakes.  Attendance was well up on the previous year and Open Gardens was our biggest single fund-raiser and a real community event. Please note: All proceeds go towards the floral displays in Moseley Village.

You are in for a treat this year as well.  Over the weekend we are opening 29 gardens, most of them different from last year though a couple of the old favourites are back.  You will be struck by the amazing diversity our community has to offer and we have gardens in Moseley roads we have not included previously.  Big gardens, small ones, some professionally designed, some themed, some evolved organically – but all loved by their owners.  There really is something for everyone.
