Moseley in Bloom is off to an exciting start in the new year, and there is space on our committee for some key support roles for the essential items that keep our charity humming. We are looking for several new committee members –
- We need a ‘secretary’—someone who can take and keep minutes and keep us on track and organised with dates/diary invites, etc.
- We would like someone who can help us liaise with Birmingham City Council to order the floral displays, check that we get what we have paid for, that they are put up at the agreed date and are maintained to a good standard.
- We are also looking for some volunteers to join the new Open Gardens 2020 Committee, to help us plan and run this amazing Moseley community event. The first meeting is on Tuesday, 4 February at 7:30pm at Moseley All Services Club, Church Road B13 9EA
We would be utterly delighted to have a coffee/chat with any interested people. Equally if any of the above sparks a good idea for working in closer partnership in any way with an organisation you know, please also send them our way for a chat.
Our charity is all about discovering the good and the energy that can come from communities working together. We love talking about what is possible and making stuff happen that makes our spaces even more lovely to live in!
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
